"The IDF Young Leaders in Diabetes Programme went from a dream to a reality in Dubai 2011, where 70 young people with diabetes from around the world came together for Leadership Training and to attend the World Diabetes Congress.

 

Since Dubai, these Young Leaders have continued to work together with their Member Associations and have achieved the impossible. Their projects are testament to the hard work and commitment they have shown to the global diabetes community as well as locally. 

 

They are an inspiration to all who meet them and I am both honored and privileged to have had this opportunity of working alongside them.”
